Boston's own pin-up princess Briar Blush brought her retro-gothic glamour to RuPaul's Drag Race Season 18 — and we’ve had a front-row seat to her artistry long before she ever stepped into the werk room. This post celebrates Briar's unforgettable run on the show as we look back at the creative partnership between one of Boston's most exciting drag performers and AMP!

On January 5, 2025, six Boston-area wedding professionals came together to create something the city had never seen before. Queerly Beloved — co-founded by Amanda Macchia Photography, One Bell Designs, DJ Dayglow, Dearly Studio, Althea Floral Design, and Lensy Michelle - along with several other vendor partners - brought seven LGBTQ+ couples to the altar for free micro-wedding ceremonies at The Sinclair in Cambridge, followed by a dance party open to all. Over 400 guests showed up. $4,000 was raised for the Trevor Project.
